Getting started is simple. Most customers begin by sharing a bill of materials and basic supplier contact information. Once we have that information, we begin supplier outreach, collect declarations, and assemble the documentation required for your Technical File, which you can access, export, retain, and produce if needed.

A pilot typically produces visible results within one to two weeks. During that time we review the BOM, contact suppliers, and begin assembling the documentation required for the manufacturer accessible Technical File managed on your behalf. After the pilot, coverage can be expanded to additional products.

Supplier outreach follows a structured sequence of reminders and follow ups. If documentation is still missing, the part is flagged as a gap and listed in the coverage summary. This gives your team clear visibility into which items are complete and which still require action.

For each product, Respondy builds and maintains a structured Technical File on the manufacturer’s behalf, supported by supplier declarations and compliance evidence. We also prepare a separate Compliance Report for customer facing summaries, along with draft RoHS Declarations of Conformity and REACH SVHC statements so your documentation is organized and ready for outward communication.

The manufacturer remains the legally responsible party for compliance and for maintaining the required technical documentation. Respondy prepares the supporting documentation and manages the Technical File on your behalf, but the final Declaration of Conformity is issued on your company letterhead and signed by your authorized representative.
